Golden Oriole #Redlistbirdbadge. This is a brooch I created in collaboration with Rosalind Gilberthorpe during my study at Sheffield Hallam University MFA Design course. We have created artwork and exchanged ideas within the theme of biodiversity loss, endangered birds, habitat loss and the UK red list of birds. This is how #Redlistbirdbadge was born.

*In the latest Birds of Conservation Concern 5 (BOCC5) published in Dec 2021, Golden Oriole is not assessed as breeding species so sadly it is not anymore classed as UK bird species.
