Statement
Yuka Jourdain is based in the U.K. and works with traditional jewellery techniques as well as enjoys experimenting new materials she encounters. Material handling and observing the forms that emerge through it are important part of understanding for which way she should move on for visualizing her thought.
Her design journey starts when things around her start looking more poetic than they are or her usual habits start looking more mysterious than before, which is when she is re-discovering the world around her. She appreciates and supports the diversity in nature and human culture.
